Corporate sustainability is becoming a “must do” for nearly every large corporation in the United States, and mobile operator Sprint Nextel Corporation is no exception.  In 2007, the company began to investigate and develop its own corporate sustainablity policy.  Over the course of time, Sprint developed a plan and published a corporate sustainability report, formed partnerships with a variety of governmental and industry groups to further its goals, and has begun to implement environmentally responsible practices in its own business and consumer facing initiatives.
